Accucraft West Coast Frogs are designed for use with 1” rail on 7.25”, 7.5”, and dual-gauge ride-on railroads. Manufactured from high-strength cast steel, these frogs form the heart of the turnout, providing a smooth and reliable wheel transition through the crossing point while withstanding the demands of heavy ride-on railroad operation.
Each frog is produced from detailed casting patterns to ensure accurate geometry, proper flange clearances, and consistent performance. The precision-cast design minimizes wheel impact and promotes smooth tracking for locomotives and rolling stock of all sizes.
Available in #5, #7, and #9 configurations, the frogs are designed to integrate seamlessly with Accucraft West Coast cast steel switch points and rail guards, creating a complete turnout system suitable for club railroads, private railways, and commercial passenger operations.
