Accucraft Ride-On RGS Galloping Goose No. 7 is a highly detailed and fully functional 2.5” scale model of the famous Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose No. 7. Designed for 7.5” gauge ride-on railways, this impressive model captures the distinctive character and proportions of one of the most recognizable vehicles in American narrow-gauge railroad history.
 
Design & Construction
The Goose No. 7 faithfully recreates the unique combination of an automobile-style front end, passenger compartment, and railroad body that made the Rio Grande Southern Galloping Geese so distinctive.  For the first time, the Accucraft Goose No. 7 body is manufactured in Japan, providing an exceptionally high level of craftsmanship, fit, and detailing.
 
High-quality materials are used throughout the model, including brass and stainless steel, providing both durability and the level of detail expected from Accucraft.
 
The finished model features authentic Rio Grande Southern colors, lettering, and detailing, with careful attention given to reproducing the appearance and character of the prototype.
 
Production & Delivery
Parts have been produced and are currently in stock.  Each Goose No. 7 is completed to order. Final assembly, painting, and installation of the electronic controllers are performed after the order is placed.
